Objective, Activities and Expected\/Achieved Results:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Gum Chemical Solutions, S.A.<\/strong> received a total investment and financing package of \u20ac4,000,000 under the Venture Capital Programme of the Capitalisation and Resilience Fund, within the framework of Portugal\u2019s Recovery and Resilience Plan. Of this amount, \u20ac2,800,000 corresponds to the public PRR component and \u20ac1,200,000 to the private component.<\/span><\/p>\n

The investment is intended to support the expansion of the project through the development of a new industrial production line for high-value-added modified resins, thereby enhancing the rosin value chain and strengthening the Company\u2019s production capacity.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The project has progressed in line with the established objectives regarding know-how development, technical implementation and preparation of the industrial process. Construction work on the facilities has been completed, and the procedures required to update the occupancy authorisation and the licensing applicable to the new production line are currently under way.<\/span><\/p>\n

Laboratory-scale samples have already been produced and are currently undergoing validation by prospective customers. The production of larger-scale samples is also planned. Installation of the industrial equipment is expected to be completed during 2026, with production scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n
