The genesis of Gum Chemical<\/strong> results from the strategic interest of private investors of Brazilian and Mexican origin who in partnership with Portuguese investors bet on the 100% renewable and bio resin sector.<\/span>
\nOur investors and promoters have extensive industry experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through Gum Chemical<\/strong>, a production unit was created for the industrial transformation of resin in order to obtain a final product of superior quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Gum Chemical<\/strong>\u2019s plant, from the natural resin gum (raw material), two different products are obtained after distillation and evaporation processes:<\/span>
\nColophony:<\/strong> with noble application in the manufacture of glues, adhesives, coatings, electrical insulation, food products, depilatory waxes, cosmetics, tires, rubbers, printing inks, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turpentine:<\/strong> its main destination is the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, being used as organic solvent, namely in the manufacture of paints and varnishes, as well as in the manufacture of cleaning products, aromas\/perfumery and medicinal products.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]In addition to Colophony<\/strong> and Turpentine<\/strong>, Gum Chemical<\/strong> also produces Water White Rosin<\/strong> a transparent rosin with high level of purity intended for specific applications and it is a product of superior quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gum Chemical<\/strong> plant is located in Cantanhede, with distillation capacity of 100 tons\/per day, processing 80-85 tons\/per day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Apart from Gum Chemical<\/strong>, there is no production of White water Rosin<\/strong> in the national market and in the European market.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
